1984 - 2022

Sean Robert Gordon, age 37, of Westerville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2022. He was born on January 29, 1984, to Terrance and Marsha Gordon.

Sean was loved unconditionally by his family. A man with a sweet tooth, he was especially fond of key lime pie, cheesecake and pineapple upside-down cake. Sean thoroughly enjoyed science, astronomy and video games, as well as all types of movies and TV series—especially if it involved sci-fi or fantasy. Most of all he loved spending time with his son William, the joy of his life. His love for William was endless. William could put a smile on Sean's face like nothing else could, and that smile will live on, forever echoed on William's sweet face.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Janet Gordon, James and Norma Cummings; Uncles Tim Gordon and Michael Cummings.

Sean is deeply missed by all and is survived by his son, William Gordon, parents Terrance and Marsha, and brother Zachary (Samantha Gabbard). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Sean's life will be held on Saturday, February 5 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio. Visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm, with a short memorial service immediately following at 1pm, where friends and family may share stories and fond memories of Sean. A gathering for family and friends will be held immediately following the memorial service (2:00-4:00pm) at Little Bear Golf Club, 1940 Little Bear Loop, Lewis Center, OH 43035.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates contributions in memory of Sean Robert Gordon to a fund that has been established for his son William Gordon.
