Seth R. Lansing
July 5, 1990 — January 30, 2022
Seth R Lansing of Lancaster, Ohio, left this world suddenly and unexpectedly at home on, Sunday, 30 Jan 2022.
On May 2, 2015. he married the love of his life and "partner in crime", Victoria L Hurst. In the course of conversation if you asked him how long they were married his reply was always: "Everyday".
Seth is survived by his wife, Victoria and 3 children, Raeleigh Madison, 4, Ellanora Aubrey, 3 and Jaxon Emmanuel, 9 months.
He was a devoted husband father and son.
Also surviving are his mother Lori and father Shannon, sisters Valori Bennett and Erica Alsouna, grandfather Ron, grandmother Eleanor, paternal grandfather Joe, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Also, Misty and Greg Boch (Mimi and Papa Greg).
Preceded in death by his grandmother Freda great grandmother Agnes and Uncle Joe.
He was a Corrections officer at SCI for the past 5 years and it was his wish to see that the inmates in his care were properly cared for.
Knowing Seth as we all did you had to know movie lines to understand where he was coming from. Any line from Princess Bride to Tombstone could flow at any moment. Let's not leave out Chris Farley. His laugh was contagious his hugs were like no other and his jokes would leave you speechless or uncomfortable.
He was an avid gamer and loved the Columbus Blue Jackets. Music was his love language.
Seth was a former member of Lancaster Church of Christ, 1779 Granville Pike in Lancaster where services will be held Saturday, February 5 2022 at 3PM and visitation starting at 1PM.
Seth attended church with his wife and children at Kingdom Life Ohio in Grove City.
It would take volumes to write his life so remember the Seth we know and love. At his celebration of his life let's remember, share, laugh and cry if you must.
