Shantaben B. Patel

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, Shantaben (Induben) Patel, on January 18th, 2025, at the age of 86. A truly remarkable soul, she lived a life filled with perseverance and ambition despite many hardships. Shantaben was intelligent, sweet yet direct, resilient, fearless, resourceful, and deeply spiritual.

Born on December 7th, 1939, in Dashrath, Gujarat, Shantaben was a devoted wife to Bhikhubhai, a loving mother to Kalpesh and Nila, a wonderful mother-in-law to Nirixa and Devang, and a cherished grandmother to Radhika, Parth, Krishna, and Harshil. Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family, she leaves behind an enduring legacy.

Shantaben found joy in simple pleasures—cooking, going for walks, shopping, spending time with family, visiting the temple, and watching Indian serials and cooking shows on TV. She was never afraid to speak her mind and always stood up for what she believed was right. Her faith in hard work and her trust in the future were unwavering, and her prayers and teachings for the well-being of others reflected her deep spirituality.

Though life was not always easy, Shantaben faced every challenge with strength and resilience. We celebrated every step of her progress, and she brought joy and light to so many lives. Her presence was a constant source of support, and she will always be remembered for her boundless love and compassion.

You will always be with us and we will always be with you. You may have been proud of us but we’re proud of you and will always be. Here’s to forever having you watch over us. You will be greatly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
