Sharon May Baker, aged 76 , residing in Hilliard, Ohio passed away on January 1, 2023 from complications caused by the COVID virus.
Called Sherry by those who knew her, She was born in Columbus, OH in 1946 and grew up in Shawnee Hills, OH. She valued her family more than a career and spent her life giving to others as a Mother, Wife and friend to many.
She was a true artist and enjoyed creating beautiful objects in multiple arts and crafts media. Most of her works were for gifts to others. Her most recent creations were with graphic arts software and she took top honors in many online competitions.
She is preceded in death by her Father David Staats, Mother Eleanor Staats and Sister Brenda Armentrout.
She is survived by Brothers David, Tracy, and Troy Staats and children John McLoughlin, Christine McLoughlin and Rachel Truesdell.
She has been blessd with nine grand children and two great-grand childern with a third one due soon.
She was married to husband Bruce Baker for 47 years.
