Sharon Kay Floyd passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022, in her home, surrounded by family. Sharon was born April 29, 1957, in Michigan. Sharon is survived by her mother Joann Garris; Aunt Janet Amick; siblings Michael Greene, Sherry (James) Fraley, and Scott (Carey) Greene; husband Roger Floyd; sons Chad (Jordan), and Ryan (Tina); her many nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren. Sharon is proceeded in death by her father Lawrence Greene.
Sharon was a loving mother and friend to all who knew her. In a way, she was "home" for many of us. Her caring spirit, and infectious laughter would light up any room she entered. Sharon was proud of the family she had, and she let everyone know it. She loved to talk about her handsome boys, visiting her family in Michigan, and she loved spoiling her grandbabies. She had a loving marriage of 38 years with her best friend Roger. They shared so many adventures together, making lasting friendships with everyone they met along the way. There was no friendship like the one you had with Sharon. She lived life in the moment, and she lived it well! She was the big sister, the fun Aunt, "Momma Sharon," and life of the party. May her spirit and kindness shine through all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Friends may gather at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
There will also be a celebration of life for Sharon following the service at the American Legion located at 3363 McDowell Rd. Grove City, OH 43123.
