Sharon Lynn Seberig of Columbus, was called home on October 26, 2023. She is survived by her Husband, Donald Seberig of 59 years. Her three Daughters, Christine Decker, Kimberly Seberig (Shawn Mercer), and Tracy Carsey (Bobby). Her three Grandchildren, Donald Decker (Ciarra), Jacob Carsey, and Lucas Carsey (Trentin). Her four Great-Grandchildren, Joshua, Ayvah, Carrera, and Raylyn.
Sharon devoted much of her life to serving the citizens of Franklin County, Ohio in a legal and administrative role for the Franklin County Probate Court. In her spare time, she loved to travel with her husband, often getting away for a weekend. She enjoyed the simple things in life, she loved to cook, play bingo, and tending to her garden.
She was a lover of all things related to family. She enjoyed family gatherings on warm summer days spent swimming, laughing and cooking out. She had a wonderful smile and laugh, and was always happy to share it with others. She was an avid lover of the holidays, most especially, Christmas. Where she enjoyed decorating the house with lights and a beautiful tree.
She loved her family with a passion, and an enthusiasm that was second to none. She was generous with her time, and her love. She was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the best of us, and beautiful in every way.
She was a courageous woman, who fought hard, and never gave up. Setting an example for how to live with dignity, compassion, and character for us all. We are better to have known her, than to have not. Her lasting legacy and impact will be remembered for years to come.
Although you are no longer here, we know you are not far off, sheltering us from the cold, protecting us from the bad, and guiding us through troubled waters. Your presence is felt now more than ever, and as time goes by without you, we will keep your memory in the deepest chambers of our hearts, until the day comes where we reach our ultimate destination, and we are reunited with you in the arms of our creator.
We wish to give a special thank you to Hospice, most especially Helen Reed, and Sarah Hall who showed grace, compassion and love for the most incredible woman in the world.
A celebration of life will be held on November 18, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Stowe Mission located at 888 Parsons Ave. Columbus, OH 43206
