Sharon Stemen, 71 of Pataskala, passed away at The James Cancer Center on July 3, 2015. Sharon was born on October 20, 1943 to the late Wilson and Frances (Temple) Thrash in Columbus, OH. Retired from Licking Heights Schools after 40 years as a bus driver. Sharon was a volunteer with the West Licking Firefighters Association Women's Auxiliary. Survived by husband of 54 years John Stemen, children Bret (Jinny) Stemen, Joe (Lisa) Stemen and Michele (Ken) Martz, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother David (June) Thrash, sister-in-law Helen Thrash and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by brother Raymond Thrash.
Friends may call at Tri-Village Christian Church, 7509 E. Broad St., Pataskala, OH on Wednesday, July 8, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Funeral service at the church on Thursday at 11 am with Paul Snoddy and Tom Bingham officiating. Burial to follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
