Shaun Kennedy

June 16, 1970 — January 23, 2024

Shaun Kennedy, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

He died suddenly at his home due to pulmonary embolisms (blood clots) in his heart. He was born June 16, 1970, in Bellaire, Ohio. He was the very much loved son of Mona Sue Kennedy.

Shaun was a Methodist by faith. He had a very compassionate heart, a great, wonderful sense of humor and a brilliant mind. He loved playing pool with his friends and had a great time playing in their pool tournaments.

His friends were a great support system that he loved and needed. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their kindness and love that he needed in this world. He won many tournaments and received many awards and trophies for his excellent playing skills. He also loved watching sports and was very happy when the Dallas Cowboys won.

Shaun was an organ donor. He was able to give people a more productive way of life. He will live on in them.

He attended DeVry Technical College in Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Kennedy, in 2023.

Surviving is his loving mother, Mona Kennedy of Columbus, Ohio.

His aunts and uncles include, Connie Saffell (Jim) of Glencoe, Ohio, Jean Selmon of Huntington, Indiana, Terry Jeffers of Neffs, Ohio, Dale Jeffers of Glencoe, Ohio, Ron Jeffers (Beverly) of Warnock, Ohio, Mike Tomolonis, of St.Clairsville, Ohio, Shirley Ashby of Pataskala, Ohio, Gary Jeffers (Darcy) of New Port Richey, Florida and Colleen Marcantonio of Columbus, Ohio. Shaun was very close to his cousins Ken Vorhies,Tim Albus and Danny Albus who will miss him greatly. He will also be missed by his dear cousins Tiffany Saffell and Carrie Selmon.

I know when he passed into heaven that he was welcomed immediately into our heavenly father's arm's. He had no more pain. He will live in my heart and mind forever. I know we will meet again in heaven some day.

There will be no viewing or service.

Psalms 16:8 - I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.
