Shawn "Bon" Edward Hamblin 43 of Grove city Ohio passed away 11-3-2021
Born February 26, 1978 to Ken and Tammy Hamblin.
Shawn was an Ohio State Buckeye fan who collected comic books and He-Man figures. He enjoyed shopping Antique malls and traveling with the love of his life Heather. They also spent time providing food and necessities to the homeless and less fortunate around Columbus.
Shawn was a caring person with a heart of gold who would give his last dollar to a stranger.
Shawn was the roofing foreman and dedicated employee at John N Schilling inc for 20 years where he also touched many hearts.
A devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, cousin, uncle and friend Shawn charished quality family time and life.
An avid Superman fan, known to many as Ogre Shawn was our real life Superman.
He touched the lives of everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by Daughters, Angela Dingus and Victoria Hamblin, step son James Betis, grandson William Dingus, mother Tammy Woolever, step dad Brad Woolever, unofficial mother in law Dorthy Pemberton, sister Tammy (Steve) Reynolds, brother Ken (Elma) Hamblin and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt's and uncles.
Preceded in death by Fiance Heather Hill, long time girlfriend Pam Pemberton, daughter Meagan, father Kenneth Hamblin unofficial father in law Warren Pemberton and many other loved ones.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. 43123 on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
