Shelvie Jean Collins, 67, of Columbus, went to meet her heavenly Father on her birthday, November 17, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late John H. and Elizabeth L. (Cline) Varney, Shelvie is also preceded in death by her husband, William D. Collins. Survivors include her daughters, Beth Robertson, Robin Musel, Anita "Karen" Collins and Carol Burgess (Michael Clagg); son, Wesley D. (Michelle) Collins; grandchildren; Amanda (Jimbo) Estep, Lindsey K. Burgess, Christopher D. Collins, Christina D. Thompson, Zacharey S. Robertson and Adrianna P. Collins; 3 great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Kirk; and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 6-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the service on Wednesday, Novebmer 21, 2007, 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
