Sherelene Fry

Sherelene Fry, age 81, passed away on August 14, 2023. She was born in Lesage, West Virginia to the late Clarence Morton Clark and Leoma Genevieve Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 60 years, Carl Fry; siblings, Barbara Stevens, Larry Clark, and Dolan Clark. She is survived by her children, Christel Sparks, Eric Fry, Tina Fry, and Aaron Fry; grandchildren, Matthew (Lisa) Thompson, Solomon Sparks, Abbigail Sparks, Amanda Sparks, Carolyn (Jeff) Culpepper, Nathaniel Fry, Alexandria Cherry, Drew Turner, Ean Turner, Ezra Fry, Ella Fry; great grandchildren, Amerie Rose, Caridee Thompson, Weston Thompson, Brody Rognon, Ava Rognon, Mason Rognon, Khloe Robison, Kiera Robison, Lennon, Saige Turner; as well as bonus great grandbabies, Auriana Robison and Astraeus Robison.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. You could feel her love and kindness through her sweet southern demeanor the minute you were near her. She didn't know a stranger - and wanted to make sure everyone she knows - knew about Jesus. One of her favorite things to do was to sit outside and watch the hummingbirds eat from the feeders with her grandchildren. She was a woman of strong faith and Christian values that she passed along to her family. She was immersed in her service to others in the church. She was also heavily involved in serving along side her husband while serving her fellow veteran service men and women in the local VFW.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12:30pm. Pastor Thomas Wright officiating. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
