Shin Ja Yun

Shin Ja Yun, 82 years old, of Columbus, passed away early Thursday morning, May 9, 2024.

Shin Ja Yun was born March 12, 1942 Ma-San, South Korea to Jang Su Lee, her mother’s name unknown due to her passing away when she was 3 years old.

Shin Ja Yun was a school nurse in South Korea, and entrepreneur in the United States. She loved serving God and her church members, loved reading her Bible and singing praises to God with her melodic voice. She loved her family with a passion and worked diligently in everything that she did with much elegance and grace. She sacrificed so much for her family and moved to the United States for a better life for her children leaving her beloved relatives behind.

Shin Ja Yun will be deeply missed by her family, her dearest friends in California and her beloved cousins in South Korea.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Memorial services (mainly in Korean) will be May 25, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Shin Woong Park officiating.
