Shirlene Owens, 71, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Mt. Carmel East. She was born April 28, 1939, in Pikeville, KY, daughter of the late Ballard Justice and Edna Coleman Campbell. In addition to her parents, Shirlene was preceded in death by many other loved ones. She is survived by her sons, Roger (Venakaye), Gary and Robbie (Vanessa) Owens; daughter, Katrina Owens; grandchildren, Anastasia (Carlton), Jackie, Robbie, Nicolas, Brandon, Arieanna and Gavin; many great grandchildren and loved ones. Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter 3380 Tremont Rd. Columbus, OH 43221.
