Shirley A. (Skeen) DiPietro, 78, passed away, Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Linton Skeen and Lucille Florence Young; husband, Ponfilio Frank DiPietro Jr.; son, Anthony Amrico DiPietro and brother, Joseph L. Skeen Jr. She is the loving mother of daughter, Anna (Larry) Paschal and sons, Frank, Victor (Pattie) and Tim DiPietro. She is the beloved grandmother of Gina Paschal, Dena (Bill) Igel, Nick Paschal, Angie (Harold) DiPietro, Tony DiPietro Jr., Renee (Brandon) Conley, Tricia (Matt) Crotty), Andrea DiPietro, Sophia (Vinny) DiPietro, Jackie DiPietro and Neva DiPietro and the loving great-grandmother of 19. She is the dear sister of Barbara (the late Jack) Frost Sr., Betty (Robert) Hunt Sr., Patricia (Robert) Foley Sr., Nancy (the late Marvin) Kemp, Donna (Charles) Massara, David (Sue) Skeen, Gerald (Nancy) Skeen, Judy (Tom) Zinser, Bud (Carole) Skeen, Bev (Bob) Nevills, Don (Sandy) Skeen and Linda Skeen. Shirley was a long time member of the North Church of Christ and Christian Union on Karl Road, where she sang in the choir. Visitation, Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 5 – 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service, Monday, September 28, 2009 at 10:30 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
