Shirley A. Starkey 80 of Grove City passed on Sept. 10, 2015. She was born August 25, 1935 in Columbus to Richard and Evelyn Ryder who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a brother Raymond Ryder. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Earl; children Dennis (Debbie) Starkey, Pamela (Tony) Rice, Debbie (Mike) Medek; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; sister in law Lucille Ryder.
Shirley retired in 1988 after 35 years at Timken, and was an avid Bingo player.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4PM Sunday Sept. 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Monday Sept. 14 at the funeral home with Pastor John Atkinson officiating, burial will follow at 11:30AM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe.
