Shirley Ann Sayre

Shirley Ann (Tucker) Sayre of Sunbury, Ohio, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Born March 15, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio. Shirley passed from this world and went to be with her Lord Jesus on November 9, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ruby Tucker; brothers, Thomas and Russell Tucker; nephew, Mike Tucker. Survived by loving husband of 49 years, Roy (Buddy) Sayre of Sunbury; daughters, Sheila Allen of Columbus, Vickie (Woodrow) Swank of Grove City, Shari (James) Gross of Coral Springs, FL, and Susan Sayre of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Juanita Mitchell, Mary Eleanor Boye of Columbus; brothers, David (Evelyn) Tucker of Gahanna, Donald M. Tucker of Miami, FL, and Robert (Nancy) Tucker of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Shirley was a very loving person with many loving friends and family members, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her so much. Her friends and family will miss going to Shirley's house for her beautiful smile and all of the delicious food and candy that she lovingly fixed for all! Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Pastors Tom and Jay Tucker officiating. Interment in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
