Shirley Allene Brewer

Shirley Allene Brewer, 83, passed away on July 30, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1938 in Akron, OH. Shirley always had a smile and a song, love for family, animals and nature. She was a longtime member of the Copley United Methodist Church, Copley, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Alma Tonkin, in-laws, Wiley and Ora Brewer. Surviving family includes husband, David Lee, children, Kimberly (Ronald) Michalec, Robin (Erik) Flickinger, David Lee Brewer II, grandchildren, Michael Haislip, Kristen (Jonathan) Zollweg, Graham (Kristen Toth)Flickinger, Lillian (Brandon) Enstrom, Weston (Jane Martin) Flickinger, great-grandchildren, Caitlin Haislip, Liam Zollweg, Teagan Zollweg.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am, Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305, where a funeral service will begin at 11am.

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at 2pm.

Memorial donations may be directed to Marion Home Health Hospice or to Copley UMC.
