Shirley A. Clifford, 76, of Columbus, OH, died January 16, 2012 at home. Mrs. Clifford was born January 29, 1935 to Lawrence and Flora Perdue. She loved Christmas Eve when all the family would get together and open their presents. She loved the 4th of July cookouts with the family. She loved to go gambling with her girls. She is survived by husband, Harold Clifford; son, John Simons; daughters, Diana Roll (James Kwiatkowski), Shirlene (John) Lones, Flora Clifford, Cindy Cole; daughter –in-law, Betty Clifford; best friend, Dottie Buckley; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 3 sisters, son, Harold, and grandson, Richard. Visitation Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH. In memory of Shirley, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E.
