Shirley Dickenson, 56, of Columbus passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Doctors West. She was born April 30, 1953, in Columbus, daughter of the late William and Joann Tall Hollingshead. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her grandson, Dennis and brother, Bobby. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Karen) Dickenson II; daughters, Denise Johnson, Kimberly Dickenson and Sarah Preest; companion, Jerry Preest; sisters, Linda Chatfield, Billie (Robert) West, Charlotte Muncy and Joellen (Doug) Chastain; grandchildren, Wayne III, Richard, Keith, Tom, Ashlynn, Allyson, Kaylene and Bailey. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. To leave a special message for the family visit www.NewcomerColumbus.com
