Shirley Moore

MOORE, Shirley Ann (Simmons), 61, of Columbus, passed away in the company of her children on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents George Price and Bernice Mae Simmons and her grandson Kristopher Allen Michael Gatwood. Shirley is survived by her husband Robert Wayne Moore; 3 children Dayle Lee Conkel of Grove City, Tracy Lee (Tony) Cline of Columbus and Kelly Jo (Don) King of New Bloomington. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and one great-grandson, who love her very much. She is also survived by her two best friends Mrs. Sandy Bluhm of Logan and Mrs. Sandy Rutter (Steve) Kean, her cousin. Her friends will always remember her by several nicknames, such as, Sam, Bird, the Football Van Lady and many others we cannot mention here. Funeral services will be held 7:00PM Monday, August 22, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until time of services.
