MCCRARY
Sidney L. McCrary, 61, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the Dayton Veterans Hospital. Born to the late Sterling and Bessie (Howell) McCrary, in Butler, GA., Sidney is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Hairston) McCrary; daughters, Shannon (James) Dorsey, Kimberly and Carla McCrary; son, Sidney McCrary, Jr.; sisters, Dorothy (Daniel), Marilyn (Greg) Fair; brothers, Robert (Carolyn) and Lester McCrary; grandchildren, Xavier and Ebony Taylor, and TreShawn Dorsey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Sidney was a veteran of the Army and worked for Big Bear 28 years. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 12:00 Noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at Flint Ridge Baptist Church, 3330 Scottwood Road, Columbus, OH. Bishop Janice Gresham will officiate. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial in Reynoldsburg, OH. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com.
