Sonja Sue Fuller, 79, of Columbus, Ohio went home to be with our heavenly father on January 20, 2021.
She nurtured a deep faith in God by reading her Bible and doing her Daily Bread devotions. She attended Maize Road Baptist Church. She was also an active community member of the Northland Senior Village where she enjoyed serving her friends and fellow neighbors. She loved playing poker with her kids and sister, Lois, as often as her poker purse was able. She was a one of a kind Mee-Maw who was quick to offer you a cold drink and a kind, twinkly-eyed smile. She will always be remembered as a mom who had the gift to see into her children's eyes and recognize their need of a listening ear. She was never quick to judge and she'd leave you feeling as if the weight of the world lifted. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.
She is survived by her family whom she treasured; sister Lois Perdue; children Bob (Donna) Fuller, (Ilona) Fuller, Kathy (Frank) Kramer, and Carissa (Mike) Planicka; grandchildren Fred (Chrissy) Fuller Jr., Amy (Mike) Alm, Amanda (Johnny) Zaczek, Matt (Sara) Fuller, David (Megan) Mancini, Jennifer (Brian) Carrico, Justin Kramer, and Eric Mancini; and 19 great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Sonja was proceeded in death by her parents Fred and Clara Robinson; husband, Robert Fuller; sister Sharon Suttle; daughter Terri Lee and son Fred Fuller.
