Sonja Hawkins gained her angel wings on Sept 19th, 2022 at her home in Grove City, OH. Sonja was 83 years old.
Sonja's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Sonja was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. Though not a day went by where Sonja didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her, her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.
Sonja was predeceased by her Partner Ernie, her daughter Robin, her son Donny, her grandchild Jamie, her sister Joy, and brother Ray. Sonja is survived by her brother Bill, her loving children, Colleen, Tammy, Samuel, Belinda, and Jean, her grandchildren, Curt, Angel, Robie, SammyJo, DJ, Richie, Ryan, JonJon, Josh, Brooklyn, Jess, and Becca followed by many great grandchildren.
