Stacey Smith-Siders

Stacey Smith, 33, of Columbus, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jack Mertz. Stacey is survived by her husband, Phil Siders; children, Austin, Makayla, Paisley and Emmit; parents, David and Debbie Smith; in-laws, Dorothy and Ray Siders; grandparents, John and Beulah Smith, Sharon (Mertz) Peters and Helen Friend; sister, Jessica Smith; sister-in-law, Tammy Siders; nephews, Jordan Spires and Jordan Siders, aunt and uncle, Linda (Phil) Dillard, aunts, Deana Friend, Rita Sharrock, Lois Smith and Denise Kelly; uncles, Kevin (Tami) Mertz, Bob Fletcher; great-aunt, Kathy Mertz; cousins, Tony (Danica) Sharrock and many other cousins and family members and friends.

Stacey loved to read and scrapbook. She was an avid fan of Harry Potter. She was a lifelong Buckeye fan. She had a deep love for her children. She was a compassionate animal lover. She loved to make people laugh and smile. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Stacey loved going to the beach and the sunshine. She loved to have her picture taken by her family.

She was employed as a pharmacy technician at CVS where she had many friends who will miss her. Stacey will be greatly missed by anyone who has ever known her.
