Stella M. Baldwin,89, passed away peacefully at her home on February 16, 2009. Longtime member of United Church of God. Born to the late Lawrence and Sarah Wheeler on July 19, 1919 in Hood Fork, KY. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Shelvy M. Baldwin Sr.; sons, Everett and Shelvy Jr.; daughter, Alice Booth; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Stella is survived by children, Etta (Richard) Grubb, Samantha (Wendell) Hendren, and Robert (Helen) Baldwin; daughter-in-law, Sharon Baldwin; sisters, Gladys Adams, Margaret Lawhun, and Helen Tackett; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123 where the funeral will take place Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. Pastor Randy Stiver officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.
