Stephen L. Jones

Stephen L. Jones, age 75, passed away on September 14, 2024. He was born on November 30, 1948 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Dr. Ralph Jones, DDS and Janice (Cottrill) Jones. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Day) Jones; children, Rebekah Jones, Anna Jones (Jimmy Snyder), Nathaniel Jones, and Joshua Jones; grandchildren, Ella and Maggie Snyder. Steve graduated from West Liberty High School. In 1980 he got his Business Admin degree from Ohio State. In 1988 he go this MBA from Ohio State. He later went on to get his CPA. He retired in 2013 from the State of Ohio Dept. of Administrative Services where he was awarded a commendation from the Governor for his outstanding service in 2001. He enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife as well as riding their BMW motorcycle and long walks. He loved reading about WWII and Pearl Harbor in particular. Stephen was also an avid OSU fan. Also reading the Bible with a recent emphasis on Revelation. Friends and family may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:00am until time of memorial service at 12:00pm.
