Stephen Nicholas Beringer Mihalik, "Jackson", passed away on December 5, 2020. He was born on January 22, 2001 in Columbus, OH.
Jackson was an independent free thinker with compassion towards others rarely shown in society. He was molded by his mother in education, kindness and free spirit. He was guided by his father in accountability, direction, leadership, and excelling to just not accept, but to be the best. Jackson had an unyielding passion to utilize everything he was given with all of it guided to not only benefit him but all around him.
He graduated Dublin Scioto High School in 2019, but finishing the curriculum early in December of 2018. He loved all sports and played golf and baseball representing his Middle and High Schools.
One of his greatest accomplishments was to be Number 1 in the world on the PS3 gaming platform for Call of Duty. He was a professional gamer and competed internationally on the Counterstrike platform. Jackson organized his own teams to compete. He loved to travel and he loved and touched many people. He lived more life in less than 20 years that most live in a lifetime. We'll all see you in our dreams, Jackson, we'll see you in our dreams.
Family includes parents, George and Cheri Mihalik, grandparents, Anna Sue Mihalik, Eugene Oplinger, Margaret Oplinger, uncles, Ken Mihalik, Tom Mihalik, Chris Oplinger, aunt, Traci Mihalik. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 5-7pm at Newcomer, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065.
