Stephen Shank, 84, of Grove City, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010. He was born December 26, 1925, in Glendale, Pa., son of the late Paul and Agnes Killian Shank. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He proudly served his country during WWII. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Alma Schafer Shank; son, Steve (Les) Shank; daughters, Maureen (Steve) Horvath and Sharon (Lew) Goldfarb; grandchildren, Samantha Horvath, Ben Goldfarb, Josh Goldfarb and Noelle (Larry) McCoy; great granddaughter, Caitlin McCoy; niece, Dorothy Jean Pintar. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the chapel at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 6440 S. High St. Lockbourne. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
