Stephen "Steve" Frederick Mason, 40, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009. Steve was born to the late Gerald and Mary Mason on April 19, 1968 in Columbus. He was a 1986 graduate of Franklin Heights High School. He is survived by his significant other, Lisa; daughters, Caitlyn, Sam, and Maranda; sons, Stephen, Joey, Kevin, and Kory; granddaughter, Kaylea Jo; sisters, Margaret, Tracey, Cathy (Ernest), Heidi, and Cindy; brothers, Gary (Michelle) and Joe (Lisa); nephews, Matthew, Timothy, Kyle, Christopher, Justin, Nick, Todd, Stephen, and Antonio; nieces, Jordan, Hannah, and Morgan; aunts, Catheline, Patsy, and LaDonna; and uncles, Gilbert, Harvey, Frederick, and Laud. Survivors also include Larry and Jeannette, and numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Randy, Rusty, Todd, Bill, Charlie, Jimmy, and Bobby. Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Pastor Larry Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Steve's honor may be made to the funeral home.
