Stephen "Steve" Murl Walker , 64, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Westerville, Ohio.
He was born on October 15, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas Walker and Betty Calhoun.
Steve is preceded in death by his wife, Deb Walker; father, Thomas Walker and sister, Debbie Tedesco.
Steve is survived by his mother, Betty Calhoun; children, Andrew (Katie) Walker, Kathleen Walker, Tara (Jeff) Hannaford; step-sons, Rick (Heather) Pierce, Bill (Lynn) Pierce; grandchildren, Alana Walker, Addilyn Walker, Hayden Pierce, Logan Pierce, Travis Pierce, Taylor Pierce, Emily Pierce, Evan Pierce, and awaiting to welcome Hudson Hannaford; brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Walker, John (Kasey) Walker; sister, Patty (Chuck) Parker; brother-in-law, Frank Tedesco and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Steve was a 1975 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, OH. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, but The Ohio State Buckeyes were his favorite! He was full of joy and had the best sense of humor. He enjoyed being with his family and loved to be outside on his land in the country, which was his dream come true.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in The James Cancer Hospital in Steve's honor.
