JOHNSON
Sterling R. (Skip) Johnson died April 26, 2008 after a courageous battle against cancer. He was born in Lorain, Ohio to Sterling R. and Ruth (Jones) Johnson. Skip is survived by his wife and soulmate, Karyn; son, Kurt, of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Cindy Johnson, and granddaughter, Katarina Star, of Massachusetts; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Kip Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Rob White; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom he dearly loved; and his pets, Chanticleer and Lakhota Wakhan. Skip was known for his strength of character, beautiful smile, his wonderfully twisted sense of humor, and for never taking life too seriously. "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." (John Lennon, "Beautiful Boy") He will be remembered always with joy and laughter and love.
