Steven E. Williams Sr., 67, of Grove City passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born June 22, 1943, in Columbus, son of the late Clarence Williams and Marilyn Skinner Young. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Edith Barnhill, Edward Williams and Judith Dennison. He served in the Marines during Vietnam. Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara Workman Williams; sons, Steven E. Williams Jr., Donald G. (Nicole) Workman, Roger D. (Tamara Schenck) Williams and Jody A. (Paula) Butler; grandchildren, Sadie-Jean, Cody Michael Nails, Bristan and Casey Williams, Anthony Allen and Katie Scarlet Butler; niece, Susan (Markus) Owens; special friends, Bo, Dave, Bob and Jay; several special poker and bingo friends and many other extended family. Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2010 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with military honors at 5:00 PM. Steve loved to hunt, fish, gamble, play poker and bingo. He was a loving, outgoing person that will be missed by all who knew him.
