Steven Harold Schumacher

Steven Harold Schumacher, 69, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away July 18, 2021. Steven was born May 16, 1952 in Watertown, Wisconsin to Harold and Ruby (Lohmeyer) Schumacher.

Steven received a MBA and BBA from Marshall University. After 37 years he retired from Mount Vernon Developmental Center. Steven not only loved to cook, but was great at it. He loved fishing in the Outer Banks. Steven was an avid gardener. He took great pride in his yard and vegetables. Steven was active in community planning and was president of the Little Turtle Civic Association.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Connie Schumacher; brother, Wayne Schumacher; sister, Cheryl Schumacher; sisters-in-law Shelia Kyle, Donnie Ball, and Jeannie Manis; brother-in-law, Gary Manis; many nieces and he is survived by Pearl Schumacher.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father in-law, Roy and Marie Manis; brothers-in-law, Roger Ball, Larry Kyle, James Manis and Ronnie Manis; sister-in-law, Dianna Manis; and nephew, Ronald "Joey" Manis.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
