On July 8, 2010 the Lord called Steven Lewis Van Fossen home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hervey and Vivian as well as sister, Vivian Futrell. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pamela (Parsons); children, Shanti (Jason) Dietsch, Matthew Guzek and Jamie (Jill Gardner) Guzek; ,siblings, Carol York and Michael (Joanne) Van Fossen; grandchildren, Lyndsie and Tobias Guzek, Melanie Gardner, and Elaina and Brock Guzek. Steve was a proud Vietnam veteran and took part in many charities including meals on wheels. Memorial Service Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1 PM at New Life Church, 3690 Stygler Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory may be made to American Leprosy Missions, 1 ALM Way, Greenville, South Carolina 29601 Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH was honored to serve the Van Fossen family.
