Sue Ellen Zuniga

Sue Ellen Zuniga, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 54 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 8, 1971, in Berwick, Pennsylvania, Sue Ellen was a radiant soul whose kindness and love knew no bounds.

Sue Ellen dedicated two decades of her life to her career at Estes Trucking in Columbus, where she worked as a dispatcher. Her work was everything to her; she poured her heart into her job, embodying a wonderful work ethic that earned her the affection and respect of her colleagues. The love and appreciation she received from her workplace were a testament to the impact she made there.

Beyond her professional life, Sue was a kind-hearted person, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. A massive animal lover, she cherished her cats, who brought her immense joy and companionship. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love for her furry friends, a reflection of her nurturing spirit and gentle nature.

Sue Ellen is survived by her loving family: her father, Arthur Montgomery; her mother, Gwyn Montgomery; her mother, Janet Vandermark; her sister, Dawn (Chris) Fickes; her brother, John (Kelly) Montgomery; her sister, Robyn Donaway; as well as her aunts, Phyllis Foster and Evelyn Kemp. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Sue Ellen Zuniga may have left this world, but her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
