Susan D. Schafer, 61, passed away September 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Irene Lacy; father of her children, Robert G. Schafer and former husband, Eldon F. Hunt. She is survived by her children, Geoffrey (Amy) Schafer, Damon (Kristina Fearing) Schafer and Elizabeth (Joe) Mueller; grandson, Rylan Schafer; siblings, Joanie Borghese Santacruz and Donald Lacy; as well as other extended family and friends. Visitation Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, September 17, 2010 at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior at Highland Baptist Church, 3460 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Susan's name may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, OH 43201.
