Susan "Sue" Ellen Ewing, 73, of Galloway, OH, formerly of Lorain, OH passed away among family at Mt. Carmel West on August 10, 2018 of prior medical problems.
She was born on March 1, 1945 in Memorial Hospital in Sandusky, OH. She resided in Fremont, OH with her family until she graduated from Clyde High School in 1963. She moved to Sandusky and attended Providence School of Nursing for a couple of years. She worked fro Erie County Job and Family Services for 9 years. She then worked for Clemons Boats in Bay View, OH for 7 years as an accounts payable clerk, then formerly retiring from Mack Iron Works Company in 2007 as a Traffic Manager.
She enjoyed doing crosswords, reading the bible, watching old shows on TV, playing games on the internet, spending time with her family and friends. Her main love was her dog Sweety.
Survivors include her brothers, Dick Ewing of Chicago, IL, Dave (Karen) Ewing of Willard, OH, daughters, Kathleen D. (Dan Gencur) Denney of Galloway, OH, Gail (Tony) Marshall of Findlay, OH, grandchildren, Jennifer (Chuck) Reed, Tasha Denney, Joshua Kampfer all of Lorain, OH, great-grandchildren, Ellie Sue Reed and Wyatt Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Margaret Ewing, brother who was stillborn and a grandson, Jacob Gencur who died in pregnancy.
The family is having a memorial service for her in Sandusky, OH at a later date.
