Susan K. Paugh, 61, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2009. Born to Walter and Delores (Shealy) Miley in Michigan on March 18, 1947, Susan is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Mickey Paugh; daughter, Julie (Antonio Scappaticci) Paugh; son, Jason (Christy) Paugh; brothers, Jim (Donna) Miley and Dick (Pat) Miley; grandchildren, Matt, Gage, Jake and Joey Paugh; cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends. Sue graduated from Worthington High School in 1965, worked for Anthem for 15 years and then opened her own shop in Westerville with her daughter Julie, "Checkerberries Dolls & Gifts". She loved children and had a very big heart and frequently donated toys and dolls from her shop to help local schools. Sue loved her customers and felt that they were all like family. Sue's family would like to thank everyone who touched Sue's life and helped to make her shop a success. All will truly miss her. Sue's family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, 3-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
