Susie A. McCoy, 77, Reynoldsburg, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Susie was born in Burnwell, KY on November 7, 1938, to the late Johnie and Bessie (Scott) Gentry and is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McCoy; sons, Brian and Billy McCoy; brother, Walter Gentry; sister, Anna Slone. Susie is survived by her daughters, Susan (Jerry) Farmer, Loretta (Chris Browning) McCoy; son, Steve (Danita Burris) McCoy; brothers, Charles Gentry and Arthur McCoy; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and neighborhood kids; sisters in Christ, Sister Mayfield, Sister Ferguson and Sister Rhodes.
Susie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend to all. She was a member of the "Church Of God" faith.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, June 16, 2016, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2017 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, East Broad Street, Columbus, OH.
