Suzan Veronica DiCrescio, affectionately known as Suzy, passed away on August 10, 2024, at Kobacker House. She was born on July 24, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, to her loving parents.
Suzy embarked on a fulfilling career as a Licensed Cosmetologist, also working at Genovese and Eckerd. Suzy dedicated herself to raising her family. Suzy was a graduate of Bellport High School, class of 1977, where she laid foundation for her future endeavors.
Those who were fortunate enough to have known Suzy will fondly remember her for her infectious smile and unwavering optimism. She possessed a heart of gold, always looking on the bright side of life and extending a helping hand to those in need. Suzy's warm and caring nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
In her leisure time, Suzy found joy in simple pleasures such as watching the Hallmark channel, showcasing her talent as an amazing baker, and indulging in her love for crafting. However, above all else, her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family. She had a remarkable ability to remember and celebrate the birthdays of her loved ones, serenading them with a heartfelt rendition of Happy Birthday that will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Henry Krick, mother, Pauline Anna Krick, her husband and soul mate, Frank DiCrescio of 30 years, brother, Gene Krick, Jr., Sister, Joann Osborn. Surviving family includes, sister, Tina (Danny) Krick-Kelley, son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Jennifer, son, Adam, sister-in-law, AnnaMarie, grandson, James, special niece, Jennifer, special nephew, Ashton, special friend, Linda, many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, other family & friends, and her Wellington Village Family.
Suzy leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. While we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable soul, we find solace in the cherished memories she has gifted us.
May Suzy rest in peace, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she held dear.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later time. Suzy and Frank will be laid to rest together at Long Island National Cemetery.
