Tamela Dawn Johnson passed away June 24, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born on October 20, 1964 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Evelyn Frison (Green) and the late Kenneth E. Johnson.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents Nye and Dorothy Green, and Elwood and Agnes Johnson.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn, brother, Kenneth Anthony "Tony" Johnson (Samantha), step-mother, Beverly Johnson, step-brother, Bobby Gibson (Kimberly), step-sisters, Carlena Reiser (Scott), Peggy Willis (Roger), many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Most of all, Tammy loved family. She also loved to make looping pot-holders, Elvis, Ohio State, camping, dancing, gospel music, and singing karaoke. In the past she attended Briggs Rd. Baptist Church.
Family and friends may call at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm for visitation hours. A service will follow at 1:00pm with Ron Green officiating. A graveside service will take place at Dennison Chapel Cemetery, London, OH.
