Tate "Bugs" Wilson Campbell Jr., 71, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away July 15, 2021. Tate was born April 10, 1950 in Craigsville, Virginia to Tate Wilson Sr. and Mary (Kennedy) Campbell.
Tate was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to work on lawnmowers and cars. In the summer time, Tate could be found working in his yard where he had a garden every year. He enjoyed spending time talking on the phone to friends and loved ones.
Tate will be deeply missed by brothers, Raymond Campbell and William Campbell; sisters, Bertie Martin, Lummy Martin, Deloris Armentrout, Dolly Smith and Emily Robinson; nephews, Thomas Robinson and Ray Robinson; niece, Eugenia Stone and many friends and family.
Tate was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Campbell; brothers, James Henry Campbell, Wilson Campbell, Charlie Rose Campbell and Willard Campbell; and sister, Alice Campbell.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
