Ted E. Kuntz, 77, Columbus, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010. Ted was born in Harrisburg, OH on August 25, 1932, to Herman and Weltha (Hill) Kuntz and was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vivian; sister, Louise Vance. Survivors include his daughters, Trudy (Gary) Summers, Carol Warner and Gale (Wes) Kolarik; son, Jerry (Christina Zaayer) Kuntz; sister, Claribel Winfough; special niece, Patsy Winfough and other nieces and nephew; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; wife's children, Charles (Sherry) Curtis, Ambers Curtis, Steve (Theresa) Curtis, Georgia R. Curtis, Dana (Diana) Thornton, Karen Mick; 23 step grandchildren, 41 Step great-grandchildren and 1 great- great step grandchild. Ted served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for Kinnear Mfg for 35 years. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, July 15, 2010, 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, OH. Ted's family would like to extend a special thank you to Columbus West Park and Odyssey Hospice for their kind care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 540 Officecenter Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230.
