Ted Franklin Young

Ted Franklin Young, 87, of Columbus, passed away August 11, 2023. He was born January 31, 1936 in Basil, OH to the late John and Mildred (Bowe) Young. Ted proudly served in the United States Navy. He graduated from Liberty Union High School in Baltimore, OH. Ted retired from Dana Corporation and in his retirement took up wine making, art and writing books which several were published. Ted will be deeply missed by his children Penny (Ron) Martin, Tina (Don) Campbell, Allen Williamson; step-children Coleen Brown, Randy (Kathy) Sours, Susie (Neil) Shaikh; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, along with many other family and friends. Ted is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara, twin brother Ned, son Richard Williamson, he outlived all the siblings and was the last patriarch in the Young Family. Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30am at Church of Christ 1130 Fishinger Rd.
