Teresa Gale Cheney, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 15, 1953 to the late Wilbur and Grace (Terry) Comer Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Dale; her children Diana and Raymond Daniels; her grandchildren Amanda, Christina, Shane and Seth; 5 great- grandchildren; her brother Ken (Kathy) Comer; her sister Brenda (Fred) Schnulle; as well as many nieces and nephews. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wilbur Comer, Jr.
Teresa attended Central High School after which she married and had 2 children.
A bigger Buckeye fan could not be found! For years Teresa attended every home game. She never missed a game, and excitedly called her brother, Ken, every time OSU scored or intercepted the ball. She loved anything "buckeye," and collected OSU memorabilia, including a Buckeye Kia Soul. She was also a Bengals and Reds fan.
Teresa loved everything involving hot air balloons or Winnie the Pooh. She was a "dog person," and adopted several dogs over the years. She leaves her 2 beloved Yorkies, Winnie and Gidget, in the care of her husband.
Her daughter described her as "the best PTA" mom who loved crafts, crocheting, making Halloween costumes, gingerbread houses, and "Hello Darling" by Conway Twitty.
Teresa visited many destinations including Mammoth Cave and Hawaii with Dale, her husband of 20 years. She absolutely loved Hawaii and smiled every time she spoke of the trip.
She enjoyed playing Euchre with her brother and sister-in-law and would gloat gleefully whenever she and Kathy won! Teresa was very close to her brother, Ken and they talked to each other almost every day about anything and everything.
She will be greatly missed!
A memorial service in celebration of Teresa's life will be held on February 5th at 4:00pm with a visitation from 3:00-4:00pm.
