Teresa L. Hess, 58, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 after a long illness at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born April 29, 1953, in Norfolk, VA. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel J. Hayes Ford; brother, Jerry R. Ford and many aunts and uncles. She worked for the Franklin County Board of MRDD for 19 years. Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Travis Hess; father, father, David L. Ford; brother, Kevin L. Ford; special nephews, Donovan Beavers and Chance Smith; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mifflin Township Cemetery.
