Terri M. Smith of Galloway, Ohio departed this life to be with our Lord on July 31. 2021.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Johnny E. Jackson and Bette J. Jackson. Preceeded in death by her husband Reverend Floyd L. Smith Sr.
She attended East High School.
Terri M. Smith was a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the late Dr. George T. Turner Sr. for 30 years. In 2004, she became a member of Shekinah Glory Prophetic Revival Center which is now The Wealthy Place where she served as the National Church Mother.
Mother Smith was loved and cherished by all.
Mother Smith loved singing and music. She came to worship with her bag of musical instruments to praise the Lord. Her favorite artists were Smokey Robinson and Pastor Shirley Caesar.
Mother Smith loved her special gift wrapping sessions at Christmas with Dr Marie M Dove. Hobbies included cooking and crocheting. She was known for her staple dish liver, rice and gravy.
Mother Smith dedicated her life to helping others. She loved all her children and adored her grandchildren.
Mother Terri M. Smith left a legacy of preachers, musicians and singers in the kingdom of God. Her love for the Lord is expressed through their lives.
Survived by sisters Joycelyn (Erwin) Farris, Elder Antonia Jackson. Children, Pastor Cherie Jackson, Antoinette Jackson, Floyd Smith Jr, Christen Smith, Tanika Smith and Tearia Smith. Grandchildren Kristen A Smith, JayKai N. McBride, Domonic Staten Jr, Keaira Staten, Kiersten A. Smith, Dashawn L. Smith. Nieces Tammy (Gary) Chapman and Teena Jackson. Nephew Antwan Jackson. Special friend Florence McClure. Hosts of nieces, a nephew, relatives, friends and The Wealthy Place family.
