Terry B. Brown

Terry B. Brown, 82, of Gahanna, OH, stepped into the loving arms of Jesus Tuesday, February 21, 2023 surrounded by his family that loved him deeply. He was born October 30, 1940 in Blue Creek, OH, son of the late Paul and Doris Thurman Brown. He is also preceded in death by his son, Terry Brown, Jr.

Terry was a member of the Grace Life Nazarene Church in New Albany, OH where he served for three years as the Assistant Director of the Grace Life Christian Child Care. He also served in many Nazarene churches across the country in full-time ministry as pastor and school administrator. He cherished his time at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Gahanna, OH where he spent 15 years serving as Principal of Shepherd Christian School. Terry impacted the lives of countless children and their families prior to his retirement.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Lou Conley Brown; daughter, Pamela Ann Schneider (Scott); son, Stephen Paul Brown (Amy); Grandchildren, Eric Schneider, Jeremy Schneider, Kristina Eckhart, Shane Dixon, Kyle Dixon, Tiffany Nageldinger, Chase Brown, Clay Brown, Gavin Brown; sisters, Sandra Sue Mitchell (Mitch) and Sheila Brown.

Terry faithfully served our country for eight years in the United States Air Force.

Terry married his high school sweetheart, Mary Lou Conley on January 3, 1959 in Peebles, OH. Their love story began when Mary Lou moved to the farm that adjoined Terry's and the rest is history.

Visitation will take place Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Grace Life Church of the Nazarene, 6000 Johnstown Road, New Albany, OH with Pastor Craig Dillman presiding.
