Terry R. Sies, 67, of Pickerington, passed away February 10, 2022.
Terry was born August 30, 1954 in Columbus, OH to George W. and Florence J. (Ressler) Sies who preceded him in death. He retired after 27 years of service with the Columbus Division of Fire.
Terry had a deep love for God and for his family, and will always be remembered for his unquenchable sense of humor. He lived his life by 1 Thessalonians 4:11: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life. You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."
Terry will be deeply missed by his wife Marian (Righter) of 48 years; children Timothy, Lisa and Michael (Judy) Sies; grandchildren Lily, Torin, Evangeline, Eleanor and Kamden Sies, special aunt Georgia Legg, sister-in-law Waynette Schwind, brother-in-law Ralph (Ginger) Righter, nieces, nephews, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, including long-time friends William Tanner and Robert Scott.
Memorial service will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:30pm at Pizza Cottage, 1000 Old Diley Rd, Pickerington OH 43147. The service will be followed by a pizza buffet, per Terry's wishes. Casual dress and no mourning colors are encouraged.
