Thaddeus L. (Big Hunt/T-Dog) Hunt Sr., 66, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1945 in Atmore, AL, son of the late Certis Hunt and Augusta Golden.
Thaddeus retired from John Scales Local 423. He was a faithful member of Union Tabernacle of God and also the manager of the male chorus. Thaddeus loved to fish and was known for his annual community "Fish" frys.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Ocie, Early and Oliver Hunt; sisters, Jessie Pearl Seamon and Willie Jean Harris; brother-in-law, Richard Lewis; sister-in-law, Gladys (Tiny) Golden.
Thaddeus is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Hunt; sons, Thaddeus Hunt Jr. and Troy Prysock; daughters, Stacya (Tina) Hunt, Crystal Hunt, Tracee, Kim and Tyann Prysock; brothers, Lacy (Gladys) Golden and Fred Golden; sisters, Ginny (Eddie) Kendrick and Bernice (C.O.) Seamon; sisters-in-law, Patricia Sullivan, Annette Lewis, Sharon (Lloyd) Ayers, Carolyn (Gene) Smith and Brenda Russell; brothers-in-law, Leonard Seamon and Lucius (Charlene) Sullivan Jr.; father-in-law, Lucius (Alberta) Sullivan Sr.; special nephews, Curtis Hunt, Tom (Deborah) Hunt, and Ricky (Carolyn) Seamon; aunt, Betty (Adolph) Blake; grandchildren, Da-Zjahnae, Deriontae', Aaron, Troy, Ashley, Diamond and Dwayne; great-grandchildren, Baby Aaron and AAlijah; special friends, Eddie J. Jackson, Mr. Hayes, Deacon Doug Kendrick, Brother Savage and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Union Tabernacle of God, 1345 Atcheson St. Columbus, OH. Visitation 11:00 AM~~Service 12:00 PM. Officiating, Pastor Kenneth Johnson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
